Each ingredient in our Deodorant Butter has been thoughtfully selected to provide the most effective, all natural formula for your hygiene routine. Our cruelty free manufacturing process takes our earth friendly ethos beyond the bathroom guaranteeing a clean, no added aluminium deodorant that is kind to both your body and the earth.
What makes our Deodorant Butter extra special is the addition of calendula and echinacea-infused olive oil to the formula. This herbal infusion is made by hand using certified organic ingredients and may assist with calming, soothing and offering skin barrier support.
The addition of organic bentonite clay to each of our Perfectly Pure Deodorant Butter formulas helps provide skin with a daily detox from toxins, bacteria and heavy metals.
Our entire range of Perfectly Pure Deodorant Butters are handmade in small batches and without the addition of any artificial or unnecessary additives to our formulas including, aluminium, preservatives, fragrances, colours, emulsifiers, mineral oils, palm oil, parabens, phthalates. All products in the Nectar Botanicals collection are cruelty free.
The absence of an emulsifier in this product's formula may make the product better suited to sensitive skin. As a result, changes in its texture and appearance can result due to environmental temperature fluctuations, however these changes will not affect the effectiveness of the product. Any changes to the product's texture disappear when applied to the warmth of the skin.

How to use Perfectly Pure Deodorant Butter
Smooth a small pea-sized amount onto underarms in the mornings, after bathing, or as required.
During the cooler months it is normal for this product to firm up - simply press the pea-sized amount of product against the warmth of your armpit for a few seconds, to allow it to soften, before massaging into the skin.
Store the product in a cool, dry cupboard when not in use.

Store the deodorant in a cool cupboard, ideally below 25 degrees Celsius. Because this product has been formulated without the addition of preservatives, storing it this way will lengthen its shelf life to at least one year from the manufacture date.

We recommend conducting a patch test prior to the first use. This ensures the product is compatible with your skin.

We use PP (Polypropylene) BPA-free packaging. We chose this type of packaging for a number of reasons such as it being a durable and heat resistant material, it is lightweight, and finally because our Deodorant Butters containing bentonite clay. Clays should not be stored or mixed in reactive containers such as metal. We would love for you to recycle your empty jar.

Our product is suitable for those with sensitive skin.
If you are sensitive to bicarb-soda we recommend trying our Lemon Myrtle & Clary Sage formula which does not contain bicarb-soda.
If you have sensitive skin, it is best not to apply straight after shaving, while the pores are still open.

Yes! And this is a good thing. None of our Deodorant Butter formulas has aluminium added to them. Aluminium is found in antiperspirants and is the ingredient responsible for blocking sweat ducts. When sweat ducts are blocked, they aren't able to produce sweat, and this prevents the armpits from releasing toxins from the body.

Each of our Deodorant Butter formulas contains Organic Australian Bentonite Clay which will assist with detoxification from toxins, heavy metals and bad bacteria from the armpit area.
Sometimes users may notice an increase in body odour and/or the appearance of pimples when they switch to our formulas, even if they have previously used a natural deodorant.
If you are experiencing symptoms from detoxification, we recommend you increase the amount of times the product is applied by applying the Deodorant Butter morning and night while the armpits go through this process. This initial detoxification process can take up to two weeks, though it is different for everyone.
